The City of Rockwall, Texas selected Callahan and Freeman Architects who designed two new fire stations costing $4,686,933. It was the first time in Rockwall's history that the city council accepted a design-build contract for construction on new facilities.
The Rockwall contract provided for using the same 11,000-square-foot floor plan for construction of both buildings.

a 90-minute drive from DFW Airport.
The facility contains district courtrooms, offices for judges, district attorney and county
clerk, a law library, conference room, general offices and holding cells for prisoners.
